Spring seems to have finally arrived in the Willamette Valley. If you haven't already you will probably soon be pulling out all of your tools that have been sitting over the winter months. This is the best time to get your equipment serviced and ready for the growing season. This is also a good time to revisit the issue of fuel quality. As you know there has been many fuel related problems since the release of ethanol fuels. Ethanol causes rubber and plastic parts to break down resulting in fuel delivery problems. We recommend starting with a good quality 92 octane fuel from a reputable station that moves lots of gas. Only use the best quality mix oil(Stihl or Husqvarna). To combat the ethanol use STARTRON enzyme treatment. Startron prevents the issues associated with ethanol and stabilizes the fuel for storage as well.
If you do run into running issues remeber we offer fast next day service on STIHL and HUSQVARNA handheld products. On larger wheeled machines we average 2-3 day turn around. Let us help you have an enjoyable spring and summer season!
